These terms govern your use of MDIntel, a service that compiles building-permit information from public Maryland county records into lead intelligence for businesses. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.
MDIntel provides searchable permit data, analytics, exports, and email alerts. Free accounts receive delayed data with limited fields; paid subscriptions receive current data and full available fields as described on the pricing page.
The data is licensed to your business for lead research, market analysis, and marketing planning. Because permit records can include information about private homeowners, the following rules are conditions of use, not suggestions:
No robocalls or cold texts to consumers. You may not use contact information associated with individual homeowners for autodialed or prerecorded calls, or for SMS/text marketing. You are solely responsible for complying with the federal TCPA, the Maryland Telephone Solicitations Act, CAN-SPAM, and applicable do-not-call registries.
Direct mail is the intended channel for reaching homeowners. Contacting businesses (builders, LLCs, contractors) through business channels is permitted, subject to applicable law.
Permit data is compiled from public county records and provided "as is." Counties post errors, revisions, and delays; we do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Verify records before making business decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MDIntel's total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for how you use the data.
We may update the service and these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
